ABOUT ME

I was born on March 9, 2000, the fourth in a family of six children. Growing up on a farm, we were out of the house most of the time, so I was soon attracted to outdoor sports. I started ski jumping at the age of eight in the SSK Norica Žiri ski jumping club.

With my enthusiasm, I progressed quickly and made good results in the younger categories, both in national and international competitions. The first appearance among the world elite took place in the 2015/16 season in Ljubno, where I took 14th and 12th places respectively.

I also excelled at my first youth World Championships, where I took 7th place in the individual competition and the mixed team's 1st place. Afterwards, I continued to grow as a ski jumping athlete, and the results only proved that. The following season, I won a whole set of medals at the Junior World Championships in Park City, and a year later, a groundbreaking season took place with my first appearance at the Olympics.

Later, I took 1st place twice in Kandersteg, Switzerland, and then in March of the same year in Rasnov I made it to the podium in the World Cup with 3rd place. In the 2018/19 season, I scored a lot of good results with 4th and 5th places, but had to wait for the new podium until the last competition of the season in Chaikovsky. The results of the next season were similar, except that I made it to the podium in front of all my wonderful Slovenian fans.

In the 2020/21 season, the podium became my home, as I stood there as many as 10 times, twice on the top and thus won the large crystal globe, and in addition, won bronze and silver in my third appearance at the World Championships.
